Recommend it for family vacations
The staff here really go above and beyond to help you. Me and my family felt right at home when they took the time to have friendly conversations with us at every turn. The deluxe family room was spacious for all of us with two queen-sized beds and patio doors, perfect for a late-night chill outside.
It wasn’t cheap but still acceptable for what we got.

This stunning Elizabethan-style retreat is set in beautiful Norfolk woodland. We loved our spacious room and the fantastic breakfast options available. The kids had a blast at the pool, although it was busy, which added to the family fun. Plus, the grounds are simply lovely to stroll through.
My kids wished there were more family-friendly dining options. It was quite tricky to find a simple meal that catered to their tastes.

Spacious family suite with lovely facilities
I recently stayed in a classic family room with my children, and we loved the spacious layout that included separate sleeping areas and a dining space. missingWrote a review on 06 Maybeautiful architecturecomfortable roomsresponsive staffnoisy atmospherepoor food
I checked into Dunston Hall for a weekend getaway with my family. The building's architecture stands out. it's impressive and set amidst lovely grounds. our initial room had outdated decor and cleanliness issues. The carpet in the family room needed a thorough vacuuming. After voicing our concerns, the staff quickly arranged a cleaner, which was great, but it took away from our first impressions. Unfortunately, noise from a private party kept us awake until midnight. The staff reassured us that the noise adhered to acceptable levels, but that didn't make much difference to our tiredness. We were looking forward to the jacuzzi, but it was out of order on our arrival day. The food was hit-or-miss. Breakfast had a decent selection, but our dinner in the brasserie was overpriced and lacked flavor. Some items weren’t available, and the service was slow, leading to frustration. the pool and spa area provided a nice escape, despite needing more maintenance. Location felt convenient for visiting Norwich. I've enjoyed visits here in the past, but it feels as though the hotel might be struggling to maintain its former glory.
